About Me

50 years on snow. A lifetime on water.

I’m proud to be a 50-year member of the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance, with certifications through CSIA, ACA, CASI,and Telemark. I’ve taught and performed skiing around the world — from Whistler to Japan, and most recently at Loch Lomond.  I grew up on the Muskoka Lakes, which eventually led me to Thunder Bay. As incredible as the mountains are, there’s nothing like being back on the water at Burke Lake.  Slalom and barefoot are my favorite waterski disciplines. In the mid-’70s, I ran a waterski school and performed in waterski shows — and in 1978, I launched one of Canada’s first windsurfing schools and dealerships. Windsurfing has taken me across inland lakes throughout Canada, to the legendary Columbia River Gorge, and all the way to Maui.

Grateful for the journey — snow, wind, and water have shaped my life.
